Street children and aids: Is postponement of sexual activity a realistic alternative to the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases? considers the special risks faced by street children in contracting Aids or other sexually transmitted diseases. It examines the health risks to which street children are exposed and the reasons why these are not being addressed. New approaches to informing street children about the risks they face and equipping them with the knowledge and motivation to reduce such risks are outlined.
